2018/07/25 - This is a call to all my past resignations

Hello, hello again.

I made a pretty acrimonious exit from the Neocities community a little over a month ago. The gist of it is that I got sick of arguing with people. I kinda forgot I was here to have fun, so I took a break.

I've recently been checking up on some Neocities people and I think it's about time I've returned. What does this mean for you? Likely nothing, but I'm back to regular updates at least.

I decided against doing a major site rewrite because I'm honestly pretty happy with how it looks. The colors are cool, the layout is comfy, and the flexbox stuff mmmmmostly works. Good enough for Neocities. Switched around some stuff graphically (new button, look at my footer), and all the pages have real <meta> tags now, so Google can display the page descriptions properly.

As for content, I cleaned up most of my unfinished projects (bye, Quaddicted Challenge!) and filled out the former Level Design page to make it a proper Modding page, with stuff that isn't related to Quake now on there. I also wrote some more album reviews and finally got around to adding an essay to the site. Told you they'd come later. (Most of the old album reviews have been cleaned up and re-written to make them less TL;DR-y too. "Learn to be less wordy" is on the agenda.)

The old microblog has been retired. I'll instead be using this page for less frequent, more substantive updates like this one.
