Below are some links to reviews for albums I either liked or I didn't, but felt the need to tell you about.
I think assigning number ratings to these is a bit overkill, so I'm keeping it simple. Awful-Eh-Good-Great-Classic is the scale. There's a few things I take into account in my review; the merits of the album, how endlessly listenable it is, how much I enjoy it, and what I just plain feel it deserves. Naturally, albums I like (and have more of a tendency to review) will get higher scores. That's why you'll probably see me give out more Greats than anything. Your results may vary if you send me albums to review.
Generally, I'll recommend a few tracks from a record and single out a particular one for scorn. These are marked as my Essential and Non-Essential picks. If you wanna sample a track to see if you're generally in tune with the record's aesthetic, the most typical track is marked as my Quintessential pick.
I'll take whatever suggestions for albums you have, listen, and review them as biased as I possibly can. Drop a message on my profile and suggest something if you're interested.
