Passing through the little brick station is a strange experience. Given how crowded the station is in The City, you expected it to be packed, but nope. There's a single porcupine behind glass in front of an empty queue, but you don't pay her much mind. Other than that and some muzak, empty and eeriely quiet.
Stepping out of the station, you're greeted with a sprawling, colorful landscape of buildings big and small (though nothing on the size of The City's buildings), all with plants and vines flanking their facades, windows, and walkways. There's a lot of chatter in the air—people actually talk to each other here! ...Not that you really want anyone to talk to you at the moment, or really even to look at you. Just more anxiety you don't need.
Still, you do need to find Penny. That's what you came for.
Directly down the way from you is the town's apricot tree in the town square, in bloom but bearing no fruit just yet. Seems there's a couple stores to your left, in case you wanna ask someone in particular.
