Colton's Adventure


Deeper in, the still air's overtaken by the suffocating smell of calcium. It's overwhelming; you almost feel like going back out for oxygen, but forge ahead. As the walkways and rock bridges get narrower, you keep peeking down into shimmery depths below you. There's thousands of tiny, jagged, bleached calcite crystals in and around the water, almost like teeth. Whether they're actually sharp enough to puncture flesh, you can't tell.

You're not convinced they aren't moving.
