Yes, fruit trees. Wouldn't be Apricot Bay without a couple of them, would it? The path further up the hill leads to the town orchard, a sprawling, fenced-in grid of trees rustling slightly in the upper elevation winds. Some are merely flowering (saying that like the white and pink buds aren't vibrant enough on their own), while others are rich with everything you can think of that grows on a tree—apples, pears, cherries, a few nut trees scattered about—and yes, that includes apricots.
