Also this has nothing to do with art but I should be coming out with some photos and such from my trip to France ;P

I’ve posted this.. everywhere, but I still like it and Cammy still likes it so here it is again. An ascended Caby that eventually started a little idea with forest spirits that me and Cameron play with occasionally uwu. Other than that, was a fun and pretty simple little drawing to do.

Gotta have me a good lasaga… The original orange bastard that I’m sure Penny aspires to be. Round boy!

What looks to be a younger Kaplan being all smug. No I don’t know either, I didn’t think of it, I just drew it, don’t blame me. Anyway the pawpads are cute so I’m happy.

Had some fun with the lighting on this one, wanted to make it look a little hazy and warm, early sundown-esque. Comfy.

I’d never drawn a kangaroo before so I decided to give it a go. I think it came out alright. The original OC didn’t look much like an actual kangaroo so I tried to mix real kangaroo anatomy with the style in the original refsheet. That’s why they kinda have paws. Oh, also, click fullscreen to check out the grass texture, I’m proud of it uwu

This is the one proper painting I did and it was pretty far into a revenge chain but it came out super nice so I’ll probably try more next year. Really proud of the general vibe and the grass detailing again. And the face, the face is nice. I’d like to figure out painting clothes better in future though. And like, merging the characters with the backgrounds so they don’t look so stuck on. Onwards and upwards.

A rabbit found itself trapped in Cameron’s garden in Minecraft. It was a particularly lucky rabbit, considering how high rabbit mortality rates are in our world. Anyway, we named him Gonzo and he likes to smonk weef and tell us about all kinds of conspiracy theories. He’s got a good heart.

Penny’s terrible, garish pink shorts make a return. This time with a cool pair of sunglasses, an awesome toy windmill and a memorable tshirt. I like this drawing far more than anyone else does. Just a tiny bastard and her toy windmill.

Sometimes I just go back and watch speedpaints and AMVs I watched when I was a smaller Caby, with their edgy music and emo cats. Mostly Warrior Cats. Because everyone liked Scourge for a bit. While watching these I got an urge to draw something little me would’ve found cool. Made up some cat designs and added some moody lighting and blood. Ka-chow.

Some kind of attempt at translating borb‘s character Sam into something you’d find in the Pennyverse. Not entirely happy with how it turned out but it’s… recognisable. I’ll give it another go at some point. It’s the goggles, wanna draw more goggles. Also the drawing in the top left corner was drawn by borb.

A rather thoughtful looking Caby. Staring off dramatically into the distance. Probably thinking about drawing more gotdamn badgers. But dramatically.

Cameron and I have spoken quite a bit about the idea of universe crossovers and stuff like that. One idea that’s super fun is the characters from the Pennyverse in Calelira. What classes they’d be, how they’d react, how they’d fit in, stuff like that. So here’s a doodle I did of Colton and Madeleine in Calelira-esque garb. Colton the rogue and Madeleine who can and will raise the dead to do her bidding.

Created a pokesona of sorts this month, a leafeon called afan, meaning “raspberry”. She exists to match with mari, I have no shame uwu. Still developing her character but she’s my most wholesome sona. Again, comes from a conversation with Cameron, I mentioned leafeon, he said that’d suit me. So here we are~

More pokeys! Was on a bit of a afan/mari binge for a while this month, it was fun. Eeveelutions are fun and simple to draw. Just pleased with the liveliness of this drawing. It’s got movement and all that good stuff. And blushy pokes, which is always nice to see.

While looking at Minecraft blocks, I decided that the different coloured clays would make a nice patchwork blanket. So I drew that. It is a nice patchwork blanket.

This one is only really noteworthy because the foreshortening almost kind of worked, which I’m pleased about. Also Kapy, which is always good. One third squish, one third fluff, one third blep.

He… sip…. That’s all I have to say about the matter.

Drew Penny kind of like a real cat. Well, almost a real cat. Just orange, with a smug, tiny face and stubby little baby legs. Because why not? Still quite pleased with the shading.

A painty thing of Colton I started but sadly didn’t finish. I might give it another go later on. Happy with how him and the water worked out so far. Just a fluffy raccoon boy relaxing in the shade. Love him, good lad.

Forever ago now, before I was sitebuilding or had friends, I was on Neopets! And my “neopetsona” as the cool kids say was a grey gnorbu. A depressed alpaca/donkey/llama thing. She was the proto-capy! Since then, I’ve changed quite a bit so I decided to redo the neopetsona, and made her a cloud gnorbu instead. Then I drew them both. It’s ~artsy~ and ~deep~.

Mainly just pleased with this one because I drew it without sketching anything out first. And it came out alright. Also Cammy, Cammy is always good, and fun to draw. I was going for “diagram” but Cameron looked at it and said “why did you paint him red”.

While wandering about aimlessly on the internet I came across a site called artri.se. There’s currently nothing really there but I thought the mascot was neat so I drew it and posted it to their Discord server. I then forgot to show it to anyone else. uwu

Three art things for the price of one, what a deal! Cameron has a soft spot for Hamtaro, so I took some Hamtaro sprites and edited them to look like Cammy. Camtaro! (EDIT: I accidentally ordered these in a way that looks like he’s shrinking. Oops)

Just a heads up, the full size drawing is pretty big, so it might take a while to load if you have ass internet like I do. Something I drew for college. I can’t remember what the project was, or what the meaning behind this is, if there is any. Just a cat, some squirrels and a sad, sad tree.

Drew quite a few otters this month. This is one of them! Some kind of river otter, methinks. A cheerful fellow, no matter what specific species he is.

Mostly just noteworthy because it kind of counts as the first drawing of Kapy. A kind of wonky looking strawberry/golden tiger with a serious expression. Wonder what on earth could cause a serious Kapy.

More ottery things! A sea otter this time. 15 minutes of fun doodling with a mouse, got a little otter buddy out of it. His head is circular and he’s hungry for fishes.

A long-neglected character of mine called Dai. He’s an elf. There’s more to the story than that but golly I have like 6 years of lore I need to work on. So for now, you just get his face. His slightly nervous looking face.

Is a mari. A rather fluffy, round and blushy mari. He’s probably up to something.
