The group walked up to the back of the house and Candy Corn turned to look at them, gesturing a proud "ta-daaa!" at their home. Sweet Po tried to shake off the confusion, and smiled at the mysterious guinea pig. After all, he had helped them get home, if in a mind-boggling manner.
"Thank you, Candy Corn. Your help is much appreciated!" he said as he offered a piece of candy to their new friend. Surprisingly, Candy Corn didn't accept the sweet.
"It's fine, no need to repay me." He squeaked, stepping back out into the garden.
"What? Don't you like sweets?" Marshmallow asked, looking more horrified than he had all evening.
Candy Corn shook his head. "Not.. not my thing."
He stepped back again, and opened his cape wide. The trio just watched, and gasped in total shock as he made a sudden flapping motion, shooting up into the night sky as a flash of lightning and the crack of thunder eminated from the swirling clouds above, the caped cavy disappearing among them.
They glanced at where he had stood, and watched as the grass that had been moved by the sudden gust of air gently became still once more.
And then, there was nothing but silence....
