Oh right, I have a blog!

Hi! I think that was a record for the least often I’ve ever updated this thing in a month. Honestly, I don’t know if it’s just that it’s not holding my attention, that I don’t know what to say, that I don’t think I have much to say, or what, but I’m making damn good on my promise to talk less this year so far!

Lately, I’ve mostly been playing vidya (Minecraft, Stardew, Tony Hawk, my usuals), playing guitar, and toying with cammy.somnol, which I’m enjoying a whole lot more than I thought I would. It’s not quite finished yet, I still need to clean it up and rewrite some stuff in spots, but overall, very pleased with how it’s coming out. Lots of ideas for pages, and I’ve been toying with WYSIWYG editors to break out of my usual Notepad++ and AutoSite rut. I know, crazy–me using a WYSIWYG editor. To make nostalgiaminer sites.

I’ve settled on Retrozilla Composer, mostly, which is a lot of fun to use and period-appropriate too. Surprisingly, the HTML it outputs isn’t actually too bad either.

And I can publish directly to my site from Composer, which is badass. Somnol ISP account hours.

Beyond that, more GH2 stuff comes down the pipe slowly but surely. I just finished this port for GH1’s “Graveyard Shift” chart today after having had it sit on my desktop for weeks. It’s the other “hidden” GH1 song, next to “Trippolette”, and I think this one came out equally as nice. You can grab it on my newly-cleaned up site, as always.

No doubt the Scratchpad will go back to being active when it’s all nice and warm and I’m actually working on more stuff, but we’ve been getting some crazy heavy snowfall all day, so not for a while yet.
