Guitar Hero Stuff? From Me? Whatever Next…

Got something planned for tomorrow, so I’ll keep this brief. I didn’t even expect to get this done tonight, or really ever, but yeah sure, have one last bit of content from me before the year’s out.

If you peek at my Guitar Hero games page, you’ll notice a bit for soundtrack rips up top. For about a year now, I was missing the first game, not because I don’t own it, not because I didn’t have the mixdowns literally sitting on my Google Drive completely finished, but because I didn’t have cover art for the rips, which the other ones did have. I needed a clean shot of one of the venues without the HUD to match the others, but GH1 is stupid and I couldn’t figure out how to turn it off.

Thanks to a totally freak occurrence in Milohax involving someone joining and needing exactly what I did and Cisco again coming in clutch, we have cover art and it’s up on my site and in The Somnolescent Archives. I’ve decided to relocate my remasters to the Archives too at some point just because. For now, here’s all the cover art I came up with:

And how about a song from it to celebrate:

“Hey” by Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives, ripped from the GH1 files and downmixed by me

I have a minor little chart project I need to finish up too, so that’ll be a thing to start off the new year, probably. No clue how this game keeps getting back into my life. I blame the autism.
