And while I’m getting back to non-web things and cleaning out my files, here’s an old site snippet I built to flex on an annoying Neocities kid and just found again:
As I remember, he was trying to base his site design off the cover of a very old jazz album, Art Blakeys’ Hard Drive (hence the name). Dug the styling, but he was clueless. I think I spent an entire afternoon trying in vain to get him to understand custom fonts, and he finally did–and then never uploaded the custom font file to Neocities. Special kinds of special on that site. Long behind me now, thankfully.
But hey, this thing still looks alright and I’m never gonna use it, so here, why not throw it up online for people to peek at and maybe use, I dunno. Scratchpad’s for odds and ends, isn’t it?
