Using the Online Help

This HTML viewer is so durned easy to use that you shouldn't even have to
look at this help file. Go wash the dishes instead. Well, since you asked:
The viewer is designed to work like many Web browsers: the hypertext links
between document pages or specific spots in longer documents are in blue
underlined text, like the "Online Help Table of Contents" link
above.
That Table of Contents link will be at the top of every page, so you can
get back to your beginnings, if need be. Below it will be the main page
heading, and if there are any in-page links, they will be below this heading.
There are a couple of tools in the viewer. The left book icon will also
take you to the Table of Contents; the middle book icon will take you to
the Help index, and the right-facing arrow will take you to the previous
page, whatever one you just viewed before the current page before your eyes.
You can use the standard Windows windowing commands to Maximize and Minimize
the viewer. From the File menu, you can open the Help pages that
are also referenced in the Table of Contents. If you want to get your full
screen back for focused management of your city, you can print any of these
help pages by choosing the Print Current Page command.
The View menu mimics the page icons explained above. The Help
menu gives you a little tidbit about the viewer, and also has the command
(Help Using Maxis Help Viewer) that will take you to this very page you're
reading. Don't forget that you can resize the viewer screen with the resize
box in the lower right corner, so that you can look at help info while you're
viewing your city.
